BLS CPR Certification Materials & Course Requirements
Before the Class:
Students (Initial + Renewal) should have access to the current BLS Provider Manual (print or eBook) based on the latest American Heart Association guidelines for best success in class.
This manual helps prepare students for:
• Adult CPR
• Child & Infant CPR
• AED Use
• Choking Response
• Team-Based Resuscitation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Protocols
Printed manuals and digital eBooks can be purchased through the official AHA ShopCPR website.
Please confirm with your instructor if your Training Center provides course materials or requires separate purchase.
After the Class:
Students will receive instructions by email to access, download, and print their official American Heart Association eCard certification through the AHA eCards portal.
This email will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
Same-day certification card issuance is available upon successful course completion in most cases.
